One last quote from Totalbiscuit regarding the word "overrated" which he would like to see retired from any gaming discussion: "At that point we will see the ordinary person crop up and use the term "overrated", which boils down to 'Stop liking this as much as you like it.'." Very fitting, even if you didn't use the term. Half the forum knows by now that you dislike the game. ![]() ![]() Thing is though, people like to stick to what they know and sometimes even what they expect from a horror game. It always HAS to be different, otherwise it gets "predictable". You seem like the guy who never wants to play the same type of game in the same setting. I haven't seen any other games execute a horror game in the same way with the same kind of plot devices or mechanics. The game/story (and sequentially its ending) are still unique.
